Farishta & Jean
I am totally blown away by this wedding. Different nations, different styles, different traditions. Beautiful bride, beautiful groom, stunning dress – I love every single bit of it. Farishta’s roots are in Afghanistan, Jean’s in Spain. And they mixed it up! The food, the music and with guests from all over the world. The free ceremony took place in the garden of a former monastery overlooking the rivers Rhine and Mosel. Manuel Torres was playing his Spanish guitar in the afternoon, the famous Afghan singer Najim Nawabi flew in from San Francisco to perform in the evening. I’m a big fan of Afghan food for quite some time, but now I am a fan of Afghan music and parties, too! I just love multicultural weddings, there is always something new and exciting. And it really is a perfect day with a lovely couple like this. Everything was beautifully coordinated and perfected by Doreen Winking. The full vendor list below! Oh and yeah, captured mostly on film again!
